What Ya Playing 11/24/21

What Ya Playing Wednesday??  It’s time for the ninth entry in the “What Ya playing” series.  This series is a check-in with both you, the reader and me, the writer. More information on how you can write into this series will be at the bottom of this article.  It’s now time to ask What Ya Playing  Wednesday?? Tales of Arise is the first game on this week's What Ya Playing.  I'm not very far yet maybe six hours or so but I'm enjoying my time so far.  I Like the story and  characters .  I love the comic-style cutscenes that provide more story and character moments. Through the game, you will hear a little sound effect that tells you a cutscene is ready. You don't have to play each and every cutscene and you could even miss all of them. If you miss one or want to watch one again you can do so at a campfire. You will find these campfires every now and then on your journey.  I like Aphen and Shionnes's push and pull. Aphen can't feel pain and anyon...

What Ya Playing Wednesday??  It’s time for the eighth entry in the “What Ya playing” series.  This series is a check-in with both you, the reader and me, the writer. More information on how you can write into this series will be at the bottom of this article.  It’s now time to ask What Ya Playing  Wednesday?? Halo Infinite’s Multiplayer  is the first game on this week's What Ya Playing. I've been playing solo and I'm about five hours in so far. I have been weirdly not enjoying the multiplayer much so far. I love both the small and tight corridor maps and the big and expansive maps. I also love the vehicles, driving a warthog over enemies and smashing them will always feel satisfying. The shooting feels good with both regular weapons like the MA40 Assault Rifle and power weapons like the Gravity Hammer. Even with all this, I can't seem to truly enjoy the multiplayer so far. I haven't tried the ranked mode yet, something I think I will enjoy much more than Quickpl...

PS5's 10 Most Played Games and First Anniversary. Today is a year after the launch of the Playstation 5. It feels crazy to me that it's already been a full year since it came out, it seems like I got mine yesterday. In celebration, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan published a post on  The PlayStation Blog  reminiscing about the past year of PlayStation and looking ahead to PlayStation's future.  Jim Ryan says "PS5 gamers have collectively played more than 4.6 billion hours of gameplay on PS5 and broadcast more than 26 million hours of content"  Next, he lists the 10 most-played PS5 games this past year: - Fortnite - Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War  - Fifa 21 - NBA 2K21 - Assassin's Creed Valhalla - Destiny 2 - MLB The Show 21 - Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales - Deamon's Souls - NBA 2K22  Jim Ryan then talks about the future of PS5 that includes some big games such as God of War Ragnarok, Horizon: Forbidden West, and Star Wars: Knights of...

What Ya Playing Wednesday??  It’s time for the seventh entry in the “What Ya playing” series.  This series is a check-in with both you the reader and me the writer. More information on how you can write into this series will be at the bottom of this article.  It’s now time to ask What Ya Playing  Wednesday?? Death's Door is the first game on this week's What Ya Playing. I just finished Death's Door and I loved it. The combat felt great with each of the five weapons other than the Umbrella which does less damage than the weapon you get when you start the game. I liked all of the characters and story, things I only like about a few indie games. If you like hack and slash-type games and/or tough games then I recommend Death's Door highly. I plan to write a review for Deaths Door with more in-depth thoughts so look forward to it. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is the second game on this week's What Ya Playing. I recently finished Guardians of the Galaxy and I re...

What Ya Playing Wednesday?? It’s time for the sixth entry in the “What Ya playing” series.  This series is a check-in with both you the reader and me the writer. More information on how you can write into this series will be at the bottom of this article.  It’s now time to ask What Ya Playing  Wednesday?? The Legend of Zelda and the Ocarina of Time. I'm about to enter Hyrule castle for the first time, so I'm not very far yet. I started this game simply because I was looking for a game to play with my N64 Switch controller and I'm enjoying it so far. It doesn't quite hold up as much as I was expecting but I'm starting to get used to it. I've never finished this game before however, I think I'm going to this time.  I'll have more to say about the game as I play and get farther in the game.  If you're looking for a great Zelda game and bought the expensive Switch Online Expansion pack I recommend you give it a try. I've also been playing Marvel'...
