PS5's 10 Most Played Games

PS5's 10 Most Played Games and First Anniversary.
Today is a year after the launch of the Playstation 5. It feels crazy to me that it's already been a full year since it came out, it seems like I got mine yesterday. In celebration, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan published a post on The PlayStation Blog reminiscing about the past year of PlayStation and looking ahead to PlayStation's future. 

Jim Ryan says "PS5 gamers have collectively played more than 4.6 billion hours of gameplay on PS5 and broadcast more than 26 million hours of content" Next, he lists the 10 most-played PS5 games this past year:
- Fortnite
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War 
- Fifa 21
- NBA 2K21
- Assassin's Creed Valhalla
- Destiny 2
- MLB The Show 21
- Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Deamon's Souls
- NBA 2K22 

Jim Ryan then talks about the future of PS5 that includes some big games such as God of War Ragnarok, Horizon: Forbidden West, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake. There are 25 games from PlayStation Studios that are in development for the PS5. Even with all the shortages, the PS5 has had a great first year and it looks like the next year will be even better.
