PS Plus Games | January 2022

The new games coming to PlayStation Plus.
By: Evan1Sonic. For anyone unaware, if you have a subscription to PlayStation Plus, then for a limited time, you can get and download these games for free. They will only be unable to play if you don't have the subscription in the future, but if you leave and return, these games will be waiting for you. The PS4 games can be played on a PS5. They just won't be optimized for the PS5. All of the games listed below will be available to claim from January 4th, 2022 to February 1st, 2022 Now on with the games! 

Persona 5 Strikers - PS4 Persona 5 Strikers is a Dynasty Warriors action RPG game from Omega Force and P-Studio. Persona 5 Strikers is the sequel to the original Persona 5 with Joker and crew embarking on a camping trip. The trip goes wrong when a distorted reality that only you can fix arises. Defeat the corruption and save Japan in Persona 5 Strikers.

Dirt 5 - PS4 and PS5 Dirt 5 is an off-road racing game from Codemasters. Drive over sixty cars in seventy-five courses across ten international locations. With Career mode, online multiplayer, four-player split-screen, and Playgrounds creator mode there's a lot of fun to be had in this game. Be the first racer to cross the finish line in Dirt 5.

Deep Rock Galactic - PS4 and PS5 Deep Rock Galactic is a cooperative first-person shooter game from Ghost Ship Games. It features procedurally-generated caves and 100% destructible environments. Work as a team with your fellow dwarven space miners to dig and look for valuable resources while fighting off hordes of enemies. Mine your way to riches with your friends in Deep Rock Galactic.

    I'm thinking about playing Persona 5 Strikers but I don't know if I need to play Persona 5 first?

      While you can absolutely play Strikers before Persona 5 you won’t have the same lore knowledge and character familiarly as you would if you had played P5 before Strikers. With P5 being a 100+ hour RPG the best option might be to start with Strikers and see if you want to start P5 based on the characters.
