Gamepass Games | January 2022

Xbox Gamepass is getting new games coming in January.

By: Evan1Sonic. For anyone unaware, if you are subscribed to Gamepass Ultimate (or Gamepass), then you will be able to play these games until they leave Xbox Gamepass in the far future. You also won't be able to play these games if your not subscribed to Gamepass in the future, but if you leave and return to Gamepass, these games will be waiting for you unless they have left the service. I’m keeping the description of the games here short simply because there are a lot of titles to list. Now on with the games! 


Gorogoa (Cloud, Console, and PC) is a beautifully hand-drawn puzzle game from Buried Signal and Published by Annapurna Interactive. Arrange and combine panels on a grid to solve puzzles in Gorogoa. This game came to Gamepass on January 4th.

Olija (Cloud, Console, and PC) is an action-adventure platformer game from Skeleton Crew Studio and Thomas Olsson. You play as Faraday, a man shipwrecked and then trapped in the country of Teraaphage. You and other castaways attempt to escape out of this hostile county and return home. Olija came to Gamepass on January 4th.

The Pedestrian (Cloud, Console, and PC) is a puzzle-platformer game from Skookum Arts. Rearrange and reconnect public signs to explore and solve puzzles in The Pedestrian. This game came to Gamepass on January 4th. 

Embr (Cloud, Console, and PC) is an action-puzzle platformer game from Muse Games. Break down doors, smash windows, evade security systems, and do whatever it takes to get paid. You fight big fires, save lives, and make good money as a firefighter in this game. Embr came to Gamepass on January 6th.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition (Console and PC) is an action-adventure RPG third-person shooter game from Bioware. This remaster includes the single-player campaigns for Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 with almost all of the DLC, better graphics, a more consistent character creator, and so many more improvements. Play as Commander Shepard on an epic space adventure in Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This game came to Gamepass on January 6th.

Outer Wilds (Cloud, Console, and PC) is an action-adventure open-world puzzle game from Mobius Digital. You play as the newest recruit of Outer Wilds Ventures, a space program that searches for answers in a mysterious constantly changing solar system. Outer Wilds came to Gamepass on January 6th.

Spelunky 2 (Console and PC) is an action roguelike platformer game from Mossmouth and BlitWorks. Spelunky 2 is the sequel to the hit indie game Spelunky. Meet a new generation of explorers searching for treasure and missing family in Spelunky 2. This game comes to Gamepass on January 13th.

The Anacrusis (Game Preview) (Console and PC) is a cooperative first-person shooter game from Stray Bombay. The game is set in a massive spaceship stranded in unexplored space. Fight against alien hordes with your friends and do whatever it takes to survive. The Anacrusis comes to Gamepass on January 13th.

It's c oming out on December 13th, 2021.  More backward-compatible Games  More than seventy Xbox 360 and Xbox OG games will now be available to play natively on Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Xbox Series S/X.
