PS Plus Games | December 2021

The new free games coming to the PlayStation Plus lineup have been revealed and will be coming soon. For anyone unaware, if you have a subscription to PlayStation Plus, then for a limited time, you can get and download these games for free. They will only be unable to play if you don't have the subscription in the future, but if you leave and return, these games will be waiting for you. The PS4 games can be played on a PS5. They just won't be optimized for the PS5. All of the games listed below will be available to claim from Dec. 7th to Jan. 3rd. Now on with the games! 

Godfall: Challenger Edition - PS4 and PS5 Godfall: Challenger Edition is a looter-slasher, Fantasy, Action RPG game from the team at Counterplay Games. The game is set in a bright fantasy world filled with knights and magic. With Third-Person melee combat similar to God of War and a loot-based gear system on top, this game looks like a blast.   

Lego DC Super-Villains - PS4 Lego DC Super-Villains is a Lego DC game with a twist made by TT Games. Instead of playing as the superheroes like previous Lego DC games, you play as the supervillains. The villain that you create with the character creator's goal is to become the biggest badest evildoer in the world. The Justice League is missing, but sadly the new team called the Justice Syndicate is taking their place in keeping the city safe. You'll have to figure out what the Justice Syndicate's true intentions are with The Joker, Harley Quinn, and many other villains in this open-world Lego game.

Mortal Shell - PS4 Mortal Shell is a Third-Person, Action, RPG, Souls-like game from the team at Cold Symmetry. As you progress, you unlock Shells. Shells are this game's versions of playstyles, each acting significantly different from the last. Similar to Dark Souls (and other Souls-likes), the combat is one of the best parts of the game. It consists of blocking, dodging, and slashing whenever you see an opening. Instead of a shield, you use an ability called Hardening to prevent damage. Battle your way through three dungeons and discover your true purpose in this Souls-like game.
