Animal Crossing NH DLC Revealed 

New downloadable content has been announced for Animal Crossing New Horizons in today's Animal Crossing NH Direct. Here’s a recap of everything shown for the DLC in the direct. 

It starts with you going to the DAL airport and telling Orville that you want to go to work. Then we get the name of the DLC: Happy Home Paradise. You’ll assist Paradise Planning a Resort Developer in designing vacation homes. The goal is to help characters acquire their dream vacation homes. Once you have a client, you will select an island for the vacation home to be built on. Each island is very different, from a desert to an iceberg. Once you pick an island it’s time to head over and give your client a tour. Before you start interior designing you must place the designated furniture requested by the client. Everything after this is up to you and your imagination. Some recommended furniture from Paradise Planning will already be available. Whenever you're happy with the interior design it’s time to design the exterior. You can place furniture, fences, plant trees, create paths, change the location and exterior of the home, and you can even change the season, time of day, and weather. As you design vacation homes you’ll acquire many different design techniques. Such as changing the size of an interior, using partition walls to divide up rooms, using counters with two different heights to make kitchens, using pillars, changing the lighting of a room, and adding soundscapes to give your ears a treat when you walk in the room. Polishing adds effects to furniture such as a sparkly effect that draws eyes to that piece of furniture. When you are done working for the day head back to the office to get paid for the day. A shop is built up in the office that will sell furniture that’s rare and hard to find on your island. Once purchased with the new currency “Poki” you can take it with you back to your island. As you receive more requests more furniture will become available. You can visit old clients and request a remodel to use different furniture than you did the first time. With your recommendation, two clients can share a vacation home. The island where the Paradise Planning office is located has a lot of empty buildings. You can help make these empty buildings into new places full of life. You can make all types of places, such as a school, a restaurant, and a hospital. The vacation homes you design are captured as photos to be saved as a portfolio in the Happy Home Network app. From the app, you can visit the homes of previous clients and check in on them. By connecting online you’ll be able to share your designs with people all over the world. You can follow the designers you like and view their designs to get some inspiration for your vacation getaways. With Amiibo, you can invite your favorite islanders and design vacation homes just for them. Design techniques acquired in the Happy Home Paradise DLC can be used on your own house on your island. By gifting your residents a souvenir from Paradise Planing they might want you to design a vacation home for them. After you design enough homes you will be able to suggest remodels for your islander's homes on your island. 

Animal Crossing Happy Home Paradise a paid DLC for Animal Crossing New Horizons is coming on November 5th, 2021. It will cost $24.99. Pre-orders begin October 29th, 2021.
